About Us

The Holistic Neuron Recovery Foundation Program purpose is to provide a holistic health spa and wellness center for traumatic brain injury patients and to serve as a training institute for families and caretakers who care for children and adults with brain injury, the disabled, veterans, seniors and their families in Corona, California and the greater Riverside County area. Over the next three years, we propose to serve over 500 individuals within the community.

 

We provide an integrated holistic approach to care that treats the "whole" person. We aim to help children with brain injuries, low-income individuals that are underserved, handicapped, underprivileged, disenfranchised and disadvantaged. We believe that mind, body, and spirit are integrated and inseparable.

Our holistic practitioners will do more than just identify and treat a specific ailment. They are trained to look at the various aspects of lifestyle and health issues and design a course of treatment to help individuals reach their optimum level of wellness.

Our holistic health approach strives to give each client a positive state of being. We combine the wisdom, traditions and disciplines of Eastern healing arts with the advances of modern Western medicine and technology to achieve this ideal.  Our patients and their caretakers are not passive recipients of care. Our philosophy is that each person, family/ caretaker has a responsibility for his/her own health and are an active participant in his/her own healing. Participants are encouraged and educated on how to be responsible for the daily care of their health through diet, exercise, lifestyle and attitudes about what constitutes wellness.
