Meyon's
Story

Therapy after her Accident)
On December 20, 1996 - Meyon was in a severe car accident when she was hit by a van. She sustained a severe head injury and had to be ripped from the wreckage using the “Jaws of Life” apparatus. As a result, she was without oxygen for over 30 minutes.

It took over two hours to get to Loma Linda Hospital and by that time Meyon’s head had exponentially become swollen. Upon arrival to the hospital, they performed a tracheotomy and she started breathing.
After suffering such brain trauma, Meyon needed constant supervision and care. Connie eventually converted to a full-time caregiver. During this time, they sought out an array of doctors that specialized in brain trauma and most simply prescribed traditional medicine that usually came with a host of side-effects.
During a MRI examination it was observed that Connie had started making a juiced supplement drink that seem to have beneficial effects for Meyon. As time when on, the list of treatments and special dietary needs that are implemented to help Meyon live a somewhat comfortable life has expanded.
In 2014, Connie formed the non-profit organization the Holistic Neuron Recovery Foundation to help other children and their families with similar circumstances.
